“I will be with you” is a sculpture inspired by a trip to the Texas Hill Country after the devastating July 4th, 2025 flooding that took the lives of 27 young girls at Camp Mystic as well as countless community members and caused devastating, widespread property damage.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2
I will be with you is inspired by a local painter who depicted Jesus jn the flood waters and a revelation that Jesus was catching up the lives lost to Heaven. He was in the flood and was using it, but He was not causing it. As strange as it sounds the Lord has used this event in ways we will never understand to draw souls to Himself and the revelation that only Jesus can save us and give us a fulfilling life.
And now this community needs support as they recover from another catastrophic flood just 1 year later that thankfully only took the life of one community member but claimed many homes and businesses.
